Pakistan’s commonwealth’s membership has been suspended because of the imposition of emergency by President Musharraf.

In a fresh outbreak of sectarian violence, which left 100 people dead in Parachinar. Sunni and Shi’ite Muslim tribesmen used mortars, rockets and heavy weapons.
