Commentary: Pakistan makes “important arrests” in Bhutto slaying

Pakistan’s interior ministry disclosed that they had arrested two persons in connection with Ms. Bhutto’s murder. Their names are Hasnain and Rifaqat.
The Interior Ministry spokesman Javed Iqbal Cheema called these arrests important.

Commentary:Militants Declare Cease-Fire in Pakistan

Tehrik-e-Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud declared an "indefinite" cease-fire. His spokesman Maulvi Mohammed Umar infomed The Associated Press by telephone about the ceasefire.
The Pakistan army spokesman said that they had not receive any formal announcement regarding ceasefire. However, interior minister had indicated in one of his statement that they were ready for talks.
