GeoEye-1 Satellite Imaging Sensor Scheduled to Launch August 22

Satellite Imaging Corporation, which has established its name as the leading satellite and geospatial information, has told media and press that GeoEye Inc. plans to launch an earth imaging satellite GeoEye-1.

Leopold J. Romeijn, president of Houston based Satellite Imaging Corporation, said that this new satellite sensor would enhance the greater capacity to deliver mono and stereo image data for their customers.
