Pentagon will keep on hitting militants insides Pakistan
The Pentagon has made it clear that it will keep on targeting militants inside Pakistan. They say that they are doing this to protect Americans from future attacks like 9/11.
The statement given spokesman Geoff Morrell negates the impression created by President Bush that Americans will respect the sovereignty of Pakistan.
The way American policy makers are handling the war in Afghan is not good, it will only create tension in the region and would make the ISAF’s task in Afghanistan difficult. If they think they can clear the safe havens by bombing, they should start bombing. No one will stop them from doing so. But they will not do this. They know it will suck them in quagmire.
